Edits made using stock photos from Unsplash and Pexels (and some of my own photos). I use only Photoshop’s internal tools for these. All the images below were made without the assistance of Photoshop’s generative AI. I do find Photoshop’s contextual task bar/generative AI useful for quicker photo edits on tighter timelines, but I prefer the challenge with Photoshop’s internal tools. I don’t use AI services like MidJourney or ChatGPT for anything.
I cut, silo, color-correct, and tweak dozens of images and elements (sometimes meticulously hand-brushing out details where the Lasso tool can’t help) to create fantastical new pictures. It’s relaxing and rewarding, and a great way to comp or visualize imaginary settings.
